Q: What do I need to be able to watch movies?
A: The minimum requirements to watch a video on Prepare to be Hired are similar to other Internet web video delivery sites. Requirements are a computer with a broadband Internet connection, speakers or headphones and Adobe Flash Player. If you are able to view the video trailers, the minimum requirements for viewing purchased videos have been met.
Q: How can I be sure the video will play before I purchase it?
A: The delivery mechanism is the same for all videos on Prepare to be Hired. If you are able to watch the free videos on the site, you will be able to watch the videos you purchase.
Q: I have a broadband Internet connection and I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player but I am still not able to watch any videos on the site. What else could it be?
A: Streaming Internet content like Internet video or Internet radio can sometimes be a drain on network resources, especially when there are multiple users like in a corporate network. Sometimes network administrators set proxy settings and firewall settings to block streaming content. It is recommended to either contact your Systems Administrator or view the videos on another computer.
Q: Why does the video keep starting and stopping while I am watching it?
A: While watching a video, Adobe Flash player tries to download it as fast as it is being watched. Sometimes, due to the size of the video or Internet download speeds, the playback catches up to download stream. If this happens, Adobe Flash player will temporarily pause the video to wait for the download stream. If this is bothersome or continues to happen, pause the video and wait for either some or all of the remaining stream to download to the player.
Q: Why don't I hear any sounds?
A: If you cannot hear any sound, first make sure the speakers or headphones are properly connected to the computer. Some speakers and headphones have a power switch. If yours does, make sure it is on. Also, make sure the volume is set properly and not at zero or mute in your sound settings. Occasionally, when speakers or headphones are plugged into the computer just before viewing, restarting your computer might be necessary to recognize your audio hardware. Otherwise, contact your computer's technical support to ensure your settings are properly set and all internal and external hardware is working as designed.

Q: May I have a discount on my purchase?
A: Yes! Our goal is to provide you the tools our Members need without breaking the bank, so we discount your order with the more you purchase. If you purchase one video, the prices is $10.00 for three days. But, if you purchase three videos, your total bill would be $25.00 instead of $30.00 and you would have your movies for a total of nine days. Additionally, our subscription service allows you to have unlimited to access to all of our content for $50.00 and would get a full 30 days to explore Prepare to be Hired.
Q: I forgot my password. Is there a way you can retrieve it for me?
A: No. For security reasons we cannot retrieve your password but we can reset it. Use Forgot Password to have a new temporary password emailed to your inbox. When you receive it, sign into your account using the temporary password and change your password to something easier to remember.
Q: How do I become a member of Prepare to be Hired?
A: To become a Member, fill out our Member Signup Form. Don't forget to submit your resume to be entered in a drawing to receive a free resume evaluation session!
Q: I watched the video I purchased but I did not find it as helpful as I had hoped. May I have a refund?
A: Although we will not be able to refund the purchase, we encourage you to share why this video was not helpful and any suggestions to either expand on our library or to make our services better. Please use Contact Us to send any and all feedback you might have.
